We are excited
about Hosting the Institute of Ministry
this summer at Strawberry Lake. It is designed to awaken the spirit of the believer to
understand the power of the Holy Spirit that the Lord Jesus Christ has made
available to each of us. Students of all ages and denominational backgrounds
will come together, far removed from the distractions of the world, to study
God’s Word and be instructed by seasoned ministers of the Gospel. The Bible will come alive and you will be encouraged to hear
the Word, and to do the Word. A life-changing experience is awaiting you at the
I.O.M. At the end of the ten-week ministry training school, you will receive an
“Able Minister” diploma, qualifying you for ministry opportunities. This will be
the Institute Of Ministries 94th class, and has graduated over 5000 students
since the start of I.O.M. There has been many great ministries that have been
birthed through this school.

Lake. Dolores has served as Dean of our IOM School of Ministry in 200 and will
serve as our Dean for this 2008 season. We are greatly blessed to have the
Ballas at Strawberry
Lake.

Curriculum
The program of study listed is for the 10 week-IOM session.
These courses, taught by Front-Line teachers and ministers,
can help you to “find your place, and be functioning in the
Body of Christ.”
Victory over a self centered life:
The purpose of this course is to gain a heart and mind that
is free of all conflict, enriching your relationship with
others and God.
Prayer:
Prayer, communion with God and its purpose and power will be
discussed and demonstrated through this dynamic course.
Supernatural Living:
This course views supernatural living through the nine gifts
of the Holy Spirit and How to establish a new intimate
relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Doctrine of the Holy Spirit:
This course focuses on the Biblical doctrine of the Holy
Spirit with special attention to His ministries, gifts and
fruits as it affects the functioning of the Body of Christ.
Apostolic Evangelism:
This course is designed to give practical understanding and
training in evangelism. It focuses the student on the
apostolic method of evangelism, which is “fishing with a
net” vs. “fishing with a single line.”
Worship in the New Testament:
Thanksgiving, praise and worship are vital for the New
Testament Christian and taught in this course with emphasis
on whom we worship and why we worship Him.
Introduction
to Missions:
Intended to provide a basic introduction to Christian
Missions with emphasis on the theology of missions from
Pentecost to Present.
Biblical Principles of Business:
A study of how businesses should be run according to the
Creator of all Management rules
Faith Dynamics:
Living a life of victory,
power and sufficiency requires faith in our Lord Jesus
Christ. This course discusses in detail the dynamics of
faith and their relationship to the believer.
