For more than 40 years, Strawberry Lake
Christian Retreat Camp
has
been an oasis for a family vacation alternative. This is your place and we are committed to your
spiritual enrichment. We have
seen hundreds of
lives touched and changed. Families testify of how this place has made a
tremendous impact in their
lives – guiding and encouraging them to Godly
Christian
biblical principles.
We pledge ourselves to continue making Strawberry Lake Christian
Retreat your favorite family vacation experience. We also want this
year’s experience to be more fulfilling than the previous year.
Only
the soft rustle of leaves
in the treetops and the singing of the loons, breaks the stillness in
this peaceful, historic location where God chose to visit
supernaturally for seven days and nights in 1955. Gerald and Beulah Derstine, young Mennonite missionaries to the Native Americans, were
praying for revival when a sovereign, divine Visitation rocked their
lives and catapulted them into worldwide ministry.
Historians have since
designated this outpouring of the Holy Spirit as the beginning of
the modern-day charismatic renewal. The Derstine's original
homestead, the site of this revival, still stands as a testimony at the Prayer House
at the Retreat. You will want to be sure to visit this site while on
the grounds.
For more
than forty
years, families and people of all ages have made Strawberry Lake
their summer tradition, for a vacation with a purpose...and to
experience their own personal revival.
Whether your plans call for one day, one
week-end or an entire camp season, your visit to Christian Retreat
Camp will be a blessing and an inspiration to you!

speakers are nationally - known
Christian leaders and Artists. Daily classes of our Institute Of Ministry
are open to guests.
Youth camps are held all
throughout the summer.

Praise
and Worship
 Praise and Worship
has always been a vital part of the Strawberry
Lake experience. Camp worship is loved for its sense of freedom in the Spirit and joy. It matters not
if praise and worship is expressed either in a posture of quiet surrender
or the jubilant and loud expression of being in the presence of
our awesome
mighty God.
Come, NOW is the time to
worship.
Saturday Nights
Strawberry Lake
also has reserved
Saturday nights for family entertainment. We have been blessed with anointed
artists such as the Brown Family and the Jackson Family that share powerful
teachings with praise and worship. This will uplift, encourage, restore and
strengthen families to live according to God's will to advancing the Kingdom.
Outdoor
Activities!
A variety
of outdoor activities
for all ages include lively volleyball games, kayak races,
evening campfires, fishing, boating, hikes and much much more!
The lake water is crystal clear. It has been said that the water is so clean, you
could actually drink it. However we suggest that you do not drink it, the fish
need it.

We also have pontoon tours of
the lake every day at 3:00 pm.

We welcome your suggestions, ideas and input in
helping us keep the high profile of integrity, dignity and excellence we
hope to maintain at Christian Retreat Camp. Please come, we want to build
a friendship. For more information

We are excited
about Hosting the Institute of Ministry
this summer at Strawberry Lake. It is designed to awaken the spirit of the believer to
understand the power of the Holy Spirit that the Lord Jesus Christ has made
available to each of us. Students of all ages and denominational backgrounds
will come together, far removed from the distractions of the world, to study
God’s Word and be instructed by seasoned ministers of the Gospel. The Bible will come alive and you will be encouraged to hear
the Word, and to do the Word. A life-changing experience is awaiting you at the
I.O.M. At the end of the ten-week ministry training school, you will receive an
“Able Minister” diploma, qualifying you for ministry opportunities.
2 Cor. 3:6 (KJV)
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter,
but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
